Manufactured by continuously winding metal strip materials (such as spring steel or stainless steel), its elastic properties can be flexibly adjusted by increasing or decreasing the number of layers, making it suitable for applications requiring low to medium spring rates. Its core advantage lies in significant space savings, requiring only about 1/2 of the axial installation space of traditional helical compression springs. Typical applications include bearing preload in precision machinery, cushioning components in automotive transmissions, and elastic support in hydraulic sealing systems.
